Ellie became a Consultant at OAC in 2025, bringing over 20 years of experience in Private Banking, Relationship Management, Business Development, and Investment Banking. She is a highly respected leader in the financial services industry, with a proven track record of working with High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals. She currently consults with OAC on its international business efforts, with a particular focus on the Middle Eastern markets.
Prior to consulting with OAC, Ellie was selected in 2016 to establish and lead the Private Banking division for a prominent Middle Eastern boutique bank in London. She successfully developed and executed a business strategy targeting the GCC region, securing significant new business across a range of financing solutions, fixed deposits, and direct real estate acquisitions. Over the course of her career, she has advised on fund-raising across investment products, including property funds, residential real estate, property finance, mortgages, and bespoke Shariah-compliant solutions.
Ellie got her start in financial services as a client advisor at Barclays Bank in London and has further specialized in Shariah Compliance, giving her a deep knowledge of both conventional and Shariah financial solutions. Her expertise, combined with extensive cross-border experience spanning Europe and the Middle East, enables her to tailor sophisticated strategies to the complex needs of clients.
Born in the UK, but having spent a significant part of her youth in Egypt, Ellie holds a degree in Business from Ain Shams University in Cairo.
