In 2016, Benjamin Hein founded a multi-family office in The Bahamas, which included the 2017 launch of OAC. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer and investment committee member at BigSur Partners, a Miami-based multi-family office. He also worked as a senior analyst and senior portfolio manager before becoming President and Chief Investment Officer at EFG Capital Advisors in Miami.  Prior to that he held investment management and research positions in Miami, Boston and Frankfurt at SunTrust Bank, John Hancock Funds and BHF-Bank. He holds a BA degree from Columbia University and an MA degree from The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of The Johns Hopkins University. He also holds the following professional certifications and designations: Chartered Financial Analyst, Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM.
